Understanding of Roles and Permissions

This article provides information regarding the additional member roles and abilities.

If you are a marketing agency with a group of designers working on creating emails/templates, you can create one cooperative paid account and invite your colleagues to this account for collaboration. Agree, this will significantly simplify the interaction between your colleagues.

To invite extra members to your account, please follow this instruction.

You can share emails and templates with other Stripo customers by inviting them to your account and granting them access to read and edit them in the "Settings""Members" menu.

Roles of invited members:

These are the owner, admin, designer, writer, proofreader, and viewer. Each role has its own features.

Let's take a look closer at the images below to see permissions for all roles:

1) Please click on the "Roles""Account" ;

2) Proceed with the "Roles" tab and switch to the "Editor";

Owner

Has full access to all the account and editor features.

If you'd like to change an Owner, please follow our separate instruction.

Admin

All the account and editor features have full access, except for permission to change the owner’s role.

Designer

Has full access to the Projects, Groups, Email messages / Templates, Data and Brand Guidelines menu; and access to the Organization and Members menu (view mode only).

Furthermore, the designer has full access to all the editor features.

Writer

Has full access to the Email messages, Data, and Brand Guidelines menu; and access to the Organization, Projects, Groups, Members, and Templates menu (view mode only).

In the Drag-n-Drop Editor section, the writer can edit only the content in the emails, edit Message images, use a code editor, and make tests or exports.

Besides that, the Writer has access to the modules and Project images as a viewer.

Proofreader

Has full access to the Email Messages tab and access to the Organization, Projects, Groups, Members, Templates, Data, and Brand Guidelines menu (view mode only).

In the Drag-n-Drop Editor section, the proofreader can edit only the image and text data content in the emails, edit Message images, and make tests or exports.

Viewer

Has access (view-only mode) to Organization, Members, Projects, Groups, Templates, Email messages, Data, Brand Guidelines menu, and Content tab.

Besides that, it has view-only access to email messages or templates content in editing mode.


How can I view/manage the member's role?

  • Please proceed with the "Settings""Member" menu;

  • In the "Members" tab, you can check the user roles and their features here by clicking on the "Roles" link;

  • To change the role, click on the 3 dots next to the member, and then on the “Manage” tab and select projects from the drop-down list:

Extra services:

You have an opportunity to add and manage members who have access to your account by giving them permission to view and edit. By default, this feature is available with the MEDIUM (2 members), PRO (9 members), or PRIME (unlimited members) membership levels; but you can connect more members to each package as an extra option.

To invite more members, please go to "Settings""Billing" "Subscriptions" and toggle on the "Extra Members" button.

Please be informed that for each tariff plan, you can add the following number of extra members:

BASIC: Allows for the invitation of a maximum of 3 members.

MEDIUM: Allows for the invitation of a maximum of 9 members.

PRO: Allows for the invitation of a maximum of 30 members.

PRIME: Allows for an unlimited number of members.

You can add from 1 to 100 extra members to your account. It costs $7 per person.

The "Extra Members" option is exclusively accessible with a paid subscription.
