The latest version of Stripo marks a significant leap forward in email design and production. While the old editor already offered solid functionality, the new version transforms the workflow into something faster, more collaborative, and far more flexible.

Below is a breakdown of the key improvements and why they matter.

1. Separate Mobile and Desktop Editing

One of the biggest shifts is the transition to a true WYSIWYG editor. What you see while editing now accurately reflects what users will see in their inbox.

Want to check how the regular HTML or AMP HTML email versions look on a desktop or mobile? Just switch to the mode you require and edit emails according to your needs.

Now you can easily:

  • Edit mobile and desktop versions separately;

  • Control visibility of elements per device;

  • Fine-tune layout and element's settings for each device.

This level of control ensures much better emails display across devices and eliminates constant test sends, allowing marketers and designers to build emails faster and with greater confidence

Additionally, you can see green dots near some controls. It indicates that this control is dynamic and you can set up separately different values for desktop and mobile:

2. Advanced Collaboration: From Comments to Real-Time Editing

The new version introduces full collaboration capabilities:

Commenting

  • Leave comments directly on elements;

  • Tag teammates;

  • Resolve discussions inside the editor.

Simultaneous editing

  • Multiple users can edit the same email in real time;

  • Changes are visible instantly;

  • Even HTML code can be edited collaboratively.

Compared to the old version, where editing was sequential, this dramatically speeds up teamwork.

3. Accessibility Testing Built-In

The Accessibility Checker lets users evaluate email templates for accessibility issues directly in the editor. It helps ensure that emails are readable and usable for people with visual impairments and other accessibility needs.

The feature provides a dedicated Accessibility Testing Mode that lets users inspect the email under different accessibility scenarios and identify potential issues before sending the campaign.

With Accessibility Testing Mode, users can:

  • analyze accessibility issues in the email layout;

  • simulate different types of color vision deficiencies;

  • hide images to verify how the email behaves without them;

  • preview the email in mobile or desktop layouts during testing;

  • inspect the email HTML through the code editor if necessary.

4. Powerful Module Management

The updated modules system makes reusable content far more effective:

  • Save and organize modules with tags and categories;

  • Reuse synchronized modules across different campaigns;

  • Maintain brand consistency effortlessly

  • Control and edit all modules in the separate module's editor mode.

5. AI Features

The new editor integrates multiple AI-powered tools:

6. View Options & Workflow Optimization

The View Options in the Stripo editor let you control how your email content is displayed while you’re editing, making it easier to focus on specific aspects of your design.

Whether you're working with different MIME types (HTML/AMPHTML), applying display conditions, hiding content for mobile or desktop, or using merge tags for personalization, the View Options help you preview and edit your email exactly the way you need.

You can find these options by clicking the small dropdown arrow next to the mobile view icon in the top-right toolbar, where you’ll be able to toggle between different display settings depending on your current workflow.

7. Dark mode

Theme Emulation lets you preview how your email looks in Light or Dark mode right inside the editor.

This helps you make sure your design looks great in both themes and is easy to read for all email services that support dark mode.

You can switch between Light and Dark using the "Theme Emulation" control in the "View Options" menu:

Also you can preview how your email looks in Light or Dark mode directly in the editor.

This helps ensure your design looks great in both themes and remains easy to read in email clients that support dark mode.

You can switch between Light and Dark modes using the control at the top panel:

8. Full Design Control (Typography & Layout)

Design flexibility has improved dramatically. New capabilities include:

  • Control over all 6 heading levels (H1 - H6) in your text blocks;

  • Custom list styles settings;

  • Letter spacing in your text and button blocks;

  • Message alignment;

  • Fine-tuned global styles applied across the email;

  • Interactive AMPHTML / HTML carousel;

  • Improved Banner block (combine different images and text into one block);

In short, the new version turns email production into a faster, smarter, and more collaborative process — making it a clear upgrade for both teams and individual creators.
