Why aren't the images showing up in the Stripo editor?

This article explains how to fix images not showing up in the Stripo.

Sometimes, images uploaded to email templates may not displayed or are shown as broken image icons. We have provided some reasons why they may not be visible and offered potential solutions to address the issue:

  • Disable Your Antivirus Temporarily:

The antivirus software on your computer may sometimes prevent certain images from loading on websites as it checks for potential safety risks. To troubleshoot this issue, you can try temporarily disabling the antivirus and checking if the images appear.

  • Browse in Incognito Mode:

A conflicting browser extension might stop it from loading images. As an example, it is possible to browse in Chrome Incognito mode by clicking the three dots icon in the top right corner and selecting "New incognito window" from the drop-down menu. In this mode, load the images again to see if the problem is solved.

  • Disable Extensions:

If the same webpage doesn’t have any broken images in the Incognito mode, you should disable your extensions of the browser.

You can troubleshoot image display issues by disabling extensions one by one.

  • Turn on Show All Images:

If you are using Chrome browser, then navigate to "Settings" –> "Privacy and security" –> "Site Settings" –> "Images". Make sure that the "Sites can show images" option has been turned on.

  • Clear Cache and Cookies:

Almost all browsers use cache data to improve loading times. However, if this data somehow gets corrupted, it could stop the browser from functioning properly.

  • Update your Browser:

Another factor in page functionality is the browser's version. If you're using an out-of-date browser, it may be causing issues with the way pages are loading, including images.

  • Try Other Browsers:

If the images on your current browser are not displaying properly and you've tried the solutions mentioned above, but the problem persists or occurs randomly, consider using other web browsers.

  • Firewall or spam filter:

A firewall or security program on your computer may be blocking the images. Contact your company's admin to check the firewall or security program settings to make sure images aren't disabled.

  • Try another Internet network:

If you are using the device in the internal network (for example, the PC from your office), it can be blocked by your security team. In this case, we offer to ask them to unblock it (we will be ready to provide you with our IP addresses for that).
