To export your email template from Stripo directly to Amazon SES, you need to:

1. Open your email template and click the Export button, which is located above the template.

Then find the Amazon SES icon:

2. Enter your Account name (you can give any)

Then enter your API KEY and Secret in respective fields. You will find them in your Amazon account (please, see the Access Keys in the AWS General Reference).

Finally, choose the instance from the drop-down list and click the "Export" button.

Important to note. To be able to export emails/templates to Amazon SES, your Amazon account should have at least 3 permissions: GetSendQuota, CreateTemplate, UpdateTemplate.

3. Your email will be delivered to the Email Templates section.

If you export the template more than once, you will see the following pop-up notification where you are asked to choose whether you'd like to export your newsletter as new or replace an existing one.

In addition, we added the ability to change the name of the template when re-exporting. To do this, you need to re-export the email by clicking on "As a new one", and after that, you will have the opportunity to change its name.

Please be advised that currently, when exporting email templates directly to Amazon SES, there are some restrictions in the name of the email template, since characters that differ from 8-bit characters and spaces in the email template name/title are not supported.

Therefore, you should check if the title of your email template contains any of the above characters or spaces. For example, these can be symbols or emoji :

And here's an example of what the title of an email should look like. As you can see, we've removed the emoji and replaced the spaces with the underscores.
