How to export an email template to Klaviyo?

To export your email template from Stripo directly to Klaviyo, you need to:

  • Open an email template and click the "Export" button, which is located above the email template;

  • Switch to the "Email Provider" tab and find the "Klaviyo" icon;

  • Enter an export account name (you can use any name);

  • When exporting to Klaviyo, you can choose how your email is exported:

    • HTML exports your design exactly as built in Stripo. The template keeps your precise design, but cannot be edited in the Klaviyo email editor. This is the default option.

    • Editable (beta) exports your template so it can be edited with the Klaviyo email editor. Note that the design may differ slightly from the original.

  • And click the "Export" button;

  • A pop-up window will open for Klaviyo login. Enter your Klaviyo email and password:

  • Klaviyo will send a verification code to your email, enter this code when prompted:

Please be advised:

Make sure you're logged into Klaviyo with an "Owner", "Admin", or "Manager" role. Only these roles can grant authorization to an app.

  • On the message warning that the app is unreviewed, click Continue:

  • Click Allow Access to authorize Stripo to connect with your Klaviyo account:

  • After successful authorization, you will be redirected back to Stripo, and the export will complete automatically.

  • The email template will be placed in the "Content" → "Templates" section.

  • If you chose the Editable version during export (not HTML), your template can be edited in Klaviyo. To edit it, click the three dots at the bottom of the template and select Edit;

  • You will be redirected to the Klaviyo email editor, where you will be able to edit the content (image and text blocks);

  • After you push an email template to Klaviyo, a new tab called "Recently Used" will appear in the "Export" window. It has been created to help you locate export options more quickly and without having to enter your credentials again.

  • If you export more than one email or template with the same name, you will see the following pop-up notification where you are asked to choose whether you'd like to export your newsletter As a new one or Replace an existing one;
