How to export an email template to Klaviyo?

To export your email template from Stripo directly to Klaviyo, you need to:

  • Open an email template and click the "Export" button, which is located above the email template;

  • Switch to the "Email Provide" tab and find the "Klaviyo" icon;

  • Enter your Export account name (you can give any) and click the "Export" button;

  • Enable the option "Make images and text blocks editable" if you plan to edit the email later in Klaviyo;

  • A pop-up window will open for Klaviyo login. Enter your Klaviyo email and password:

  • Klaviyo will send a verification code to your email, enter this code when prompted:

Please be advised:

Make sure you are logging into the Klaviyo account as the "Owner", "Admin", or "Manager" role. Only these roles can grant authorization to an app.

  • On the message warning that the app is unreviewed, click Continue:

  • Click Allow Access to authorize Stripo to connect with your Klaviyo account:

  • After successful authorization, you will be redirected back to Stripo, and the export will complete automatically.

  • The email template will be placed in the "Content" → "Templates" section.

How to edit an exported email template in Klaviyo?

After exporting an email template from Stripo to Klaviyo, please follow these steps:

  • Go to "Campaigns" and click "Create campaign";

  • Click Continue to proceed with campaign creation;

  • Click "Add message" (displayed as a "+" icon) and select "Email";

  • In the Templates section, find the template that was exported from Stripo;

  • Click the three dots next to the template and select "Use template";

  • You will be redirected to the Klaviyo email editor, where you will be able to edit the content (image and text blocks);

  • After you push an email template to the Klaviyo, a new tab, called “Recently Used”, will appear in the “Export” window. It has been created to help you locate export options more quickly and without having to enter your credentials again.
