To export your email template from Stripo directly to MessageBird, you need to:

  • Open an email template and click the "Export" button, which is located above the email template;

  • Switch to the tab "Email Provider" and type "MessageBird" in the search field. Then click on the "MessageBird" icon;

  • Enter your Export account name (you can give any), choose an Account location, fill in the Reply to and From name fields, enter the API Key and then click the button "Next Step";

  • To generate an API key, open the SparkPost account and go to "Configuration" β†’ "API keys" and click "Create API key"; then click "Copy" to copy the key;

  • To see what Account location is used in your account, take a look at the link you use for accessing the SparkPost account in the web browser: if the link has the subdomain EU, then you have a EU-based account; if it doesn't, then you have a US-based account;

  • In the Next Step, select a sender domain from the dropdown list, and click the button "Export";

  • The email template will be delivered to the "Content" β†’ "Templates" menu.

  • If you export more than one email or template with the same name, you will see the following pop-up notification where you are asked to choose whether you'd like to export your newsletter as new or replace an existing one.
