Stripo Backup allows you to download email templates in the .stripo format, store them externally, and import them back into Stripo whenever needed.
How to export an email template using the Stripo Backup option?
Unlike regular HTML exports, Stripo Backup preserves the internal markup required for the drag-and-drop editor to work. This allows you to open the imported template in the Stripo editor and work on it as usual.
Please note: The Stripo Backup export option is available on the Pro, Prime, and AWS plans.
To export your email template as a Stripo Backup file, follow these steps:
Open the email template you want to export;
Click Export to open the export options;
Navigate to the File tab and select Stripo Backup.
The backup file will be downloaded automatically. No additional export settings are required. You can export a single email template, a template with its localizations, or multiple email templates in a ZIP archive.
How to import a Stripo Backup file?
If you want to upload and work on a previously exported template, you can import the backup file into your Stripo account and continue editing it in the editor.
To do this, follow these steps:
If you haven't created any email templates yet and are about to create your first one, go to the Email Messages tab and select Import design:
If you already have some templates in your account, you can find the Import design option here:
Upload your .stripo backup file:
After importing the file, the email template will be available in the Stripo editor, allowing you to continue working on it using the drag-and-drop functionality.
