Different email clients and workflows often require HTML files in different formats. The Email Converter simplifies this process by allowing you to convert your HTML into the required format in just a few clicks. Simply upload your HTML file, select the desired output format, and download the converted file.
The Email Converter is available directly in your Stripo account. To access it, select Email Converter from the left navigation panel:
Note: If you don't see Email Converter in the left navigation panel, you can enable it in Settings → Workspace → Workspace Configuration. Turn on the Email Converter toggle, and the feature will appear in the navigation panel:
Currently, the Email Converter supports converting HTML files to OFT, EMLTPL, and EML formats. Support for Image (PNG/JPG) and PDF formats will be added soon.
We recommend using OFT for Outlook on Windows, EMLTPL for Outlook on macOS, and EML for the New Outlook for Windows and other compatible email clients.
Important to note! The Outlook app's rendering engine removes responsive styles from emails. As a result, recipients using the Outlook mobile app will see the desktop version of the email instead of the responsive mobile layout.
The Email Converter supports HTML files (up to 10 MB) and ZIP archives (up to 30 MB) that contain your HTML file and any associated images.
To convert your HTML file, drag and drop it into the upload area or click the upload area to browse your files:
Optionally, you can enable the Converting images to Base64 option to embed images directly into the HTML instead of referencing them via URLs. We recommend using this option only when necessary, as embedding images in Base64 significantly increases the file size:
Once you've uploaded your file, click Convert to start the conversion:
When the conversion is complete, click Download to save the converted file to your device:
Please note: Every time you convert an email using the Email Converter, it counts as one export. The converter shares the same export limit as your regular email exports in Stripo. You can view your remaining export count next to the Convert button:
