At Stripo, we’ve developed a commenting feature that allows users to leave comments directly within the editor, improving collaboration and simplifying the process of creating email templates and layouts.


What Are the Benefits of Commenting within the Stripo Editor?

Quick Response to Changes: By commenting directly within the editor, your team can provide immediate feedback on changes, allowing for faster responses, quicker decision-making, and more focused discussions on specific parts of the template.

Precision in Instructions: Use pins (markers) to highlight exactly which sections of the template need modifications. This ensures that attention is drawn to the correct elements without the need to review the entire email template.

Convenient Communication: No more relying on external messengers or platforms. All discussions happen directly within the Stripo editor, making collaboration more seamless and efficient.

What’s Required for Commenting?

  • By default, the commenting option is turned on.

    To control the settings, go to "Settings"→ "Workspace"→ "Group"→ "Configuration Options" in the group settings.

How Does the Commenting Feature Work?

  • When you open the template, you’ll notice a brand-new "Comments" tab in the Stripo editor:

  • When you switch to this tab, the editor automatically enters "Read-Only" mode. This means you can’t make changes to the content or add new elements but can still leave comments by clicking on any part of the email template:

  • Each comment will be marked with a red bullet point, ensuring visibility. To respond, simply click the "Reply" button. You can reply with plain text for a detailed response or use emojis for a quick, fun reaction:

  • If the emoji you need isn’t in the shortcut list, just click "Add Emoji" to select the one you want:

  • To keep the interface clean, all previous replies within a comment thread are hidden under a clickable link. Clicking it expands the full conversation for easy reference.

  • Need to make adjustments? You can edit your comment at any time. When you do, the comment will display a status indicating that it has been modified, ensuring transparency:


  • You can edit or delete your comment as many times as needed, and if you decide to delete it, a confirmation popup will appear to avoid accidental removals.

  • Furthermore, you can mention colleagues in comments by using the "@" symbol. Just type "@" and select a user from the list and they will be notified about your comment via email:

  • Additionally, you can now also invite new team members directly through the Stripo Editor using the "Invite Member" option, expanding your team and enhancing collaboration:

  • The "Load More" button will appear only if you have invited 20 or more members to the project, making it easier to view and load additional participants, ensuring you never miss a member’s input:


Important Notes:

Please note that there is a 500-character limit when adding a comment.
