Not everyone knows how important links like "Unsubscribe" and "View in browser" actually are. For example, an unsubscribe is needed for many reasons: to be understanding of customers’ needs and preferences, to get reliable feedback, and, most importantly, to allow emails to end up in the inbox, not in spam.
An unsubscribe link is a link that allows subscribers to unfollow receiving marketing emails sent by a brand. The link is usually placed in the template's footer and leads to the unsubscribe page.
And what about the view in the browser link? The subscribers can see the entire email message in the browser window.
Please notice that such special links as "View in Browser" or "Unsubscribe" should be set depending on ESP (email service provider) you're using to send out your emails.
This means that you should clarify the list of tags in support of your service.
Each email provider has its own list of tags. We do not provide these lists in the editor because there are a lot of different providers, and we are not able to check all the tags.
However, we created a list of the most common ESP services with their merge tags and special links (for instance, Campaign Monitor, GetResponse, MailChimp, Unisender, Zeta, eSputnik, etc.) that you can turn on in the Project settings → Special links (or Merge tags) sections.
You will see all the enabled links in the Special link tab in the editor.
Okay, so how can you add the link to the text? It's really easy!
First of all, you should open the editor and choose the Text block. After that, please highlight the needed text you want to use as a link, and click the label "Chain" in the top Settings panel;
After that, in the settings on the left side, you will be able to insert the link, change its type, see the link title, enable or disable the word break, and underline the link;
Next, add the correct link to your email service. Remind, such special links as View in browser or Unsubscribe must be configured depending on the ESP provider you use to send emails.
Moreover, if you do not want to fill in the link data manually every time, you can add your own Special Links. To do this, just open the project settings;
After that, please add the desired links to the additional "Special Links" menu;
Once added, they can be found in the type for the link, by the name "Custom links".
So using these simple steps, you can add an unsubscribe/view in browser link to your email.
