You’ve built an email and are ready to send it out to recipients? We strongly recommend that you send a test email to yourself to make sure that it looks exactly as you wanted both on mobile and desktop devices, with no rendering issues.

How to send test email with Stripo:

  • click the “test” button;
  • in the pop-up window, enter your and your colleagues’ email addresses — separate them with commas (Just notice that if you have the Free package you can test the email only with your registered email);
  • click “send”.

In this blog post, we showed in the details why and how to test your email.

Also our editor has an advanced feature that allows you to test emails using technologies of our partner Email on Acid.

What is Email on Acid?

This service shows how your emails will be displayed in various systems.

For your convenience, this testing option is embedded right into the editor and available for any email in editor mode:

This service is prepaid one, you can buy it in My organization menu by a toggle switch located right next to of its name Extra Email Clients Tests.

Please note that you can only buy tests number in a multiple of 10.

If you want to disable paid testing service displaying, use the corresponding setting right here in My organization menu.

Right below the disconnect switch, you can see the drop-down menu where you can customize the number of devices to make screenshots of the email test.

Or you can customize these number of devices to make screenshots directly in the test window.

In the pop-up test window you can connect an option which includes test results to the email preview link, so it's more convenient to share this link with your clients/colleagues to approval the email.

If you follow this link you will be redirected to a separate tab with web-version (this tab includes desktop and mobile versions)

and tests results tab, where you can check all generated screenshots of your email on various devices and email clients.

Besides, you can download Images of current test to archive and share it with your colleagues.

If tests were not displayed for some reason, try to clean your browser cache. To do this, press Ctrl + F5 for Win OS or cmd + R/shift + update for Mac OS. Then, go to Previous tests submenu to view test results.

Here you can switch between previous test versions and compare them.
