Refer to our main SSO guide for detailed instructions on configuring SSO in Stripo
This guide will help you create a new OIDC application in Okta and then use it for SSO in Stripo. Please, follow these steps:
Log into your Okta Admin Console (you must have the Administrator role in Okta for that);
Go to “Applications” → “Applications”;
Create a new integration by clicking on the button “Create App Integration“;
Select the sign-in method "OIDC - OpenID Connect" and the application type "Web Application”;
Give the app a name in the field "App integration name"; skip the sections "Proof of possession" and "Grand type" (leave the default settings there);
Go to your Stripo account and copy the Redirect URI from the SSO settings; go back to Okta and paste the Redirect URI into the field “Sign-in redirect URIs”;
We will not need the “Sign-out redirect URIs”, so either leave this field blank or delete the field by closing it;
In “Assignments”, select groups that need access to Stripo; to do that, check the option "Limit access to selected groups";
Search for groups by name in the field "Selected group(s)", click on a group to add it; you can let everyone access the app by selecting the group "Everyone";
Note: to let everyone access Stripo, you can instead check the option “Allow everyone in your organization to access“, but in this case the users will not see the app on their Okta Dashboard (optional feature);Click “Save“ to complete creating the app;
In the app’s settings, go to the tab “General”;
(Optional) To let the team members log into Stripo via the Okta Dashboard, navigate to "General Settings" and click "Edit";
12.1. In the "Login" subsection, find the parameter "Login initiated by", and select the option "Either Okta or App";
12.2. For "Application visibility", check the option "Display application icon to users";12.3. For "Login flow", keep the "Redirect to app to initiate login (OIDC Compliant)" option;
12.4. In the field "Initiate login URI", enter the URL: https://my.stripo.email/sso-login;
12.5. Click "Save";
12.6. To have our Stripo logo on the Okta Dashboard, navigate to the top section of the app's settings and click on the Pencil icon next to the Gear icon;
12.7. You will see the "Edit logo" popup window;
12.8. Download the Stripo logo by clicking the following link:
12.9. In the "Edit Logo" window, click "Browse" and select the logo from your local drive;
12.10. Click "Update Logo";
12.11. Close the window using the button "Close";
Navigate to the subsection "Client Credentials" above; copy the “Client ID“ and ”Secret“ of the app, using the "Copy to clipboard" button;
Go to Stripo and paste the Client ID and Secret into the corresponding fields;
Enter the Issuer URL of your Okta account in Stripo; by default, the Issuer URL should have the following format: https://{yourOrgDomain}.okta.com/;
You can find the Issuer URL in the Profile menu at the top right corner of Admin console. Open the Profile Menu, hover the mouse over the address and copy it, then add https:// at the beginning of the copied address:
To see if the authentication works, click on the “Test Connection” button in Stripo. To test the connection, we will use your email address. Ensure that the created app is assigned to your Okta account;
Well done! If the test connection is successful, you can can go on and complete the SSO activation in Stripo.
