How to export email templates to Omnisend?

In this article, you can find detailed information about exporting email templates from Stripo to Omnisend.

To export your email template directly from Stripo to Omnisend, you need:

  • open an email template and click the Export button, which is located above the email template, then find the Omnisend icon;

  • After clicking on the Omnisend icon, you will see a new tab with a lot of different exporting features, for example:

- Set both dimensions for all images in the exported code - by doing this, you set fixed dimensions for your images (width and height).

- Minimize HTML - This will reduce the weight of the email template file. All line breaks, spaces and extra characters will be deleted.

- Support of Accessibility - It sets the role=presentation attribute that helps the screen readers for some users with disabilities. When dеactivated, the attribute role=presentation will be deleted from the HTML code.

  • enable the needed features and click on the "Show HTML code" button;

  • after that, you will get a pop-up window with the HTML code, please copy it by clicking on the "Copy to clipboard" button;

  • The next step is logging in to your Omnisend account and moving to the "Campaigns" "Create campaign" section;

  • There, we would like to advise you to choose the "Email" type and click the "Create Email" button;

  • Fill in the following fields with information: subject line, sender's name, sender's email address, and so on;

  • At the bottom, there will be a Choose email template button;

  • On the service, you can choose many types of templates, we advise you to select the "Other" type to import the HTML code;

  • After selecting the template, you will see a standard HTML code. Now you need to paste your own HTML code on the right field; Then you can send a test or finish editing:

Please keep in mind, that if there are no special links in your email template or there are other errors, the Omnisend will offer to correct them first, and after that, you will be able to make a mailing.

  • Please be aware if you can see this error after the import of the code;

  • Check if the Support of Outlook is turned off and if you do not use the non-standard font in your email.
